Indian Fair Days & Pow Wow

The Indian Fair Days & Pow Wow is one of California’s longest running Pow Wows. It was originally started as a fundraiser for the museum but has now become a tradition. You will find that Indian Fair Days & Pow Wow, sponsored by the Sierra Mono Museum, sets itself apart by showcasing the Mono Culture in the Cultural Awareness display.

The 48th Annual Indian Fair Days & Pow Wow is being held at Minarets High School, 45077 Road 220, O’Neals, CA 93645.

Gates open on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 9:00am – 11:00pm and Sunday, August 5, 2018 9:00am – 5:00pm.

The public is invited to join in the native american crafts, food and music. We will have dance competitions, music, food and craft vendors. Grand entry is at noon both days.

Admission tickets are $2 in advance or $5 at the gate. You can purchase pre-sale tickets at the museum or find a contestant selling tickets for a chance to be crowned princess or brave.

We are looking for Native American youth ages 2-17 as contestants for royalty. Contestant call will be in March 2018.

All proceeds from the event benefit the Sierra Mono Museum, which is a non-profit 501(c)3 charity to preserve the history and culture of the Mono Indians.
